I spent a fair amount of my childhood running loose in the woods and glorious summers sailing and swimming with my siblings on the the Great Lakes. It never gets old. That incredible scent of fresh pine, the majestic understanding that the water you're touching was once a glacier that melted over 32,000 years ago and the kind of snow that made Lucy believe and trust in magic when she first arrived in Narnia.
Awe and wonder, every time. Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. Ahh!
The power of nature to enchant, Fibonacci mesmerize, kick our behinds and nurture us is amazing.
There are many creative projects and goals on the table for 2023. They are normally hashed out in my mind in September, but not usually shared with the world until a few months later.
I am wrapping up I LUV U LUCY, my first novel to feature film project with composer, author and movie director, Tony Bianchi of iOscape Studios. I'm looking forward to seeing this project on the big screen. We're already in talks about what's next.
I will (finally) be on photo safari to see lions in the Serengeti and am in training right now to climb the most sacred mountain in Africa, I will have a ton to write about and share with you! Some of my novels that have been tucked in a drawer will be dusted off and sorted. They are all different genres: speculative, geo-thriller and lastly a dual-timeline mystery, so the challenge in the world we live in is... self-pub or traditional and how to market them, so they get the love that they deserve. That's another other ball of beeswax. :-)
I've come to the conclusion that rushing anything creative is a huge mistake and everything will unfold as it needs to, as long as I am present, focused and open to the process.
There may be a few new audio books on the way, as fantasy author and narrator,

There's more in the works, but it's hush hush for now. All I can say is from all the years I worked in a mind-numbing, corporate cubicle and the most creative thing I did was answer overdue emails or figure out how to squeeze the last hundred dollars in my bank account, my cup runneth over.
I love to connect with my readers, friends, and writing community, but how I do that is being rethought, reimagined. Hopefully I will find that happy medium. As the truth is, time keeps moving and in this new year of possibility, I wish all of you more joy, personal achievement, happiness, good health, less BS, tons of connection and whatever kind of love you need.
As a wise person once said, 'It isn't about the destination, it's the journey.'
